The white 10s have a variable of 2% , the catch is the variable is less medication and the original yellow Norco 10s have a plus 2%.. I did alot of reading to find this... the yellows will always be stronger.. ive been taking these since 2005 when I had shoulder injury and found out I have degenerative bone and joint ....the only thing close is oxycodone 10s the pink round ones...
I to have chronic back pain ,have for years now from having chemo ,yea and my drs. said it made my bones weak ,i fracture vertebrae, this was two years ago ,i could only take baby breaths it like crushing your insides ,,and i only got half of it back they filled it with some kind of cement and to this day i can only stand to try and do something and dear lord it hurts i cant breath right ,and yea my med 10/325 but yet my doctor wrote another script for 600 mg ibuprofen to take one with the pain meds ,i worked in textiles 33 years had cancer ,put in my time paid my taxes but they cant give me the pain med i had ,,,,,,,,,dam lying around all the time ,,i was very, very active person and would work over anytime they needed me i to have been taking it for 5 years thats when it started ,not to long after chemo,,,,,,,,why make honest ,people who keep every appt. to their dr.suffer in so much pain ,i love the outdoors cant even cut grass, plant flowers from pain ,,.,,,,does anybody understand they are still law abiding citzens,,,,,,
Totally understand..I worked in ICU and ER fir yrs..hectic and stressful jobs. There are the drug seekers that are running it for the really hurt ppl...I was injured in domestic problems breaking my neck..Yea Lil ptsd so we won't go any farther on the subject..but totally understand what your going thru..this will drop your jaw..my pharmacist won't order a non yellow form of the medication even with my allergy to the dye bcuz he'll loose 98% of his biz..well I say probably 95% are for real chronic pain patients. Makes ya wonder..

I 100% agree. There are still good law-abiding citizens out here whom really do need this medication but no thanks to the addicts and street dealers, it is proving harder by the day to get my medication. I have endometriosis and have had at least 22 major surgeries. Quite a few were from pelvic adhesions and bowel obstruction. I fell in 2003 and I had a spinal fusion with laminectomy. Then 5 yrs. ago I became very ill and went to the emergency room and was told I needed an emergency appendectomy. Well not only did the Dr. remove my appendix, he somehow made a mistake and moved my entire small intestine. I did not find out until 6 months later after constantly getting sick. So now I practically live in the hospital from colon spasms and infections and low electrolytes. I am not trying to sound bitter because I am not. But I AM angry about what the DEA is doing to stop innocent people from getting their medication. We fight for everything else, this should be a fight too. They can go through our medical history of need be and point out who should or who should not be receiving medications. I just really needed to share my very PAINFUL situation in life.
my doctor had me on lorcet 10/650 and change to lorcet 10/325 what's the different are they the same?I had three back surgery
The only difference is the amount of acetaminophen contained in each pill. The 10/650 dose contains 650 mg's of acetaminophen and the 10/325 dose contains, you guessed it, 325 mg's. He had to switch because the FDA does not allow doses of acetaminophen over 500 mg's per pill, in any pill, whether it contains opiates or not.
no difference same meds. some people like norco i think cuz it has like different aspirin. ill take 1000 of eather
Re: DAnks (# 3)
Just in case you did not know. Acedaminiphen acts as a blood thinner. You can get into real trouble with too much. It is an antinflammatory. Particularly if you are taking other things for pain.
Re: Trace (# 8)
Hi... Just a question about your bowel obstruction... what were your syptoms, and how long did it take you to find out there was one and how? I believe I may be suffering from one. Have had almost total constipation for over a year... sometimes debilitating pain, and seems to affect my bladder function, like I have to pee and hardly anything comes out. Have had a CT of the area, and they keep saying it's just constipation. No matter what I do, it won't go through. Have been taking laxatives, etc. Nothing helps. I don't want this to go on until something becomes so acute, it will take a trip to Shands ER one night when I can no longer stand the pain. I can feel it all backed up and it is a noticeable bulge in my abdomen pretty far up.
My birth father was susceptible to these, almost died once, but he was a heavy drinker and didn't eat right. I used to drink quite a bit, but been almost 30 years since I drank regular and I try to eat right... it goes in, just doesn't want to come out, lol... but not really laughing, I am always hurting from it to some extent, 24/7,sometimes wakes me out of a sound sleep.
Sorry off topic, but had to ask...
Thanks.... Hugsss...
Re: Nona (# 11)
Sometimes I feel like I am going to get Acetaminophen poisoning....
They are both the same (hydrocodone) even the same strengh just different factorys
they are the. same. they both contadrocodonein hy
If the dosage is the same, then the only difference is who has manufactured it. Both contain Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, the Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever.
Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation.
