Watson-generic For Vicodin
Updated1 Reply
Hello,
The generic for any Vicodin would be a combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. I have found a generic Vicodin from Watson laboratories that contains (750 mg) of Acetaminophen and (7.5 mg) of Hydrocodone-just like the Vicodin ES. It is a white elliptical/oval pill with the imprint WATSON 387 on the front and a score/line on the back.
Also- Just in case you're not aware- if a medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to be allowed to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient. There may be 1 pill with 100% of the active ingredient, but the rest may be a lot weaker.
National Drug Code (NDC): 00591-0387
You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone
I hope this helps! Please post back if you have any questions.
