Watson 750 Vicodin Discontinued (Top voted first)

ARE THE WATSON 750 VICODIN GOING TO BE DISCONTINUED? WHY? IS NORCO GOING TO REPLACE THEM? I HAVE A CONCERN BECAUSE I LIKE THE VICODINS BECAUSE THEY TAKE AWAY THE PAIN I HAVE AND GIVE ME ENERGY. I SUFFER FROM BACK PAIN AND DEPRESSION DUE TO A FALL AT WORK.

Haha. They make you “feel good,” huh? Well, you sir or madame, are the EXACT reason why people like ME who have legit freakin CHRONIC pain and take meds to have some form of life, are having such a difficult time getting our needed and NON-aBUSED pain meds. Shame on you, arsehole.

They are only changing the amount of Acetaminophen. But, they are doing that to all medications that contain Acetaminophen. The amount of Hydrocodone won't change.

No, this is a good thing. Finally drug makers are being sued for people's liver failure. I had been wondering for years when they would take it off the market. Particularly harmful to addicts because who counts the acetaminophen dose when you want to swallow a fist full of Vicodin? The active ingredient and the purpose of this drug is hydrocodone 5/10 mg per tab. Therefore this ultra high amount of acetaminophen has been a silent, yet not so silent killer. Your liver can handle about 4 GMs of Acetomentphen per day, above that and depending oh how fast it was all taken causes necrosis (death) of liver tissue. Taken over years it means scarring and cirrhosis. If you are a drinker multiply the damage by 10. It had no business whatsoever being with hydrocodone and particularly at that ultra high dose.
