I am saving my empty container. There could be a legal suit if there was something wrong and harmful.

Not sure I feel comfortable even taking it. I think the Co. owes the consumer a detail message that is true of what happened. My Physician said wait awhile before taking again. What state are you saying WalMart has it?

I called the company in August or September of last year. They told me that there's been a problem with some of Konsyl Original that had been made overseas, so they pulled even what had been made in the USA. The lady also said that it should be available by sometime in October and they would email me where it would be available. As of now, I have heard nothing. I can no longer find a phone number.

Konsyl sent an email today stating they resumed production in November and that they have been shipping to Walmart. However WalMart has yet to return the product to its shelves. The email read that Konsyl expected WalMart to start stocking the product by February.

Having typed this, I found two containers of the original powder with the new label in my local Walmart today @ $14.44 each so maybe it really is soon to be available.

I Had IV's Chealation about 8 years ago to pull Lead out of my system. Also all my Amalgum fillings removed to get it out. This is really disheartening. One of my physicians said it was prob LEAD recall. I cannot go through this Chealation again. Hard to get through and very expensive.

Looks like they were sued by California for having lead in the product.

Costco has one very close in label, but the orange flavor is somewhat artificial. I would try both.

I found a similar product on costco's website. I will compare when it comes in the mail. People were selling konsyl online at over $80.00 or more. Robbery. The company said it would be back in dec. or jan., but I cannot find it anywhere.

It could be that the psylumm came from india. I contacted the company and the reply was that it would be back in stores soon. However I order a similar item from costco. Will check the label when I receive it.

Why can't I find konsyl? They changed the company's main production location, concurrent with a psyllium shortage, and are back ordered currently.

I agree, can’t find anything that works as well. I sent an email to the company and they responded and said the original formula should be out late December or early January, 2018. They had no date for their other products and didn’t give a reason why it has not been available for the last 3-4 months.

Totally agree with you. I do not want the product back-I want answers from the Mfg as to what happened. Otherwise the makeup can be compromised again and again.I would think the FTC would be one place to ck -but other than that "The Media" NOW!!!!

Rich: In my opinion, rather than all of us worrying about when the product will be available again, instead we should all be worrying about whether our health has been adversely affected by consuming the product that was discontinued, because it may have contained a toxic substance.

Obviously, there has been a very serious reason for this discontinuation, which Konsyl refuses to reveal. Previously, they themselves had referred to it as a “critical quality defect.”

And here we are at the end of Dec and still not able to buy the product. I reluctantly moved on to another (Viva) brand. Not happy. Does anyone know if this product is gone for good?

Is this your opinion or is this a fact? If so I am not surprised . I am in the Dental field and we have had recalls on items that no one would suspect.

Do you know what foreign matter???

Just got off the phone with Konysl Pharmacuticals was told the original product will be available in mid January in stores. Feel like I’m being led around the block......and the rep was nasty when i asked why they pulled the product.
