Waiting To Switch Antibiotics
UpdatedI was taking penicillin and now need to switch to a zpak. How long should I wait before starting the new meds?

Unless your doctor or pharmacist has said otherwise, you should be able to just cleanly switch from one to the other.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
In most cases, they just have you replace the next required dose with the new one and proceed from there.
Are you on any other medications?
