Wv Pharmacy That Fills A Pa Subutex Prescription (Top voted first)

I went to a doctor in PA that prescribed me subutex. I went to a few pharmacies in the area (Washington, Pa) but they only carried Suboxone. Does anyone know where I can get subutex filled in Washington, Pa or close to there? I live in Morgantown, Wv & would rather get them filled in this area if that's possible. I have a WV ID, but a PA. Subutex prescription.

Did you have any luck finding a pharmacy? I'm in the same situation, I live in WV and go to a pa Dr and I need a pharmacy asap! Please, any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem! Script written in Washington, PA but I have a WV ID. I live in Mon county, WV so the closer the better! I drove over 2 hours south last month for my medicine.

If you have not yet been able to get your prescription filled or if anyone else is having a problem with this, I hope this helps. My niece had this exact same problem, we stopped at almost every pharmacy between Washington, PA and Kingwood, WV and each one had a different story to tell about why they could not fill the prescription. They simply don't want to fill it is the main problem, they want everyone to be treated in their home state but there's simply nothe enough treatment centers in WV, period and besides, lots of people have problems with Suboxone and the combo meds and that's all drs in WV prescribe unless you have questions documented life threatening allergy to it. I was able to locate a few pharmacies that have been known to fill PA scripts in WV for WV residents. Some of the pharmacies I've listed may not participate in it and may not tell you anything over the phone, tell you they don't carry the medication or simply refuse, so it is absolutely best to appear in person with the prescription and your valid ID to the pharmacy instead of calling. Just look them up on Google for directions. Sorry if any of these places stopped participating and you waste a trip to the pharmacy.

Preston Family Pharmacy - Kingwood, WV - Will fill ONLY for residents of Preston County with an address located in Preston County

Belldinas Pharmacy - Masontown, WV - Usually has a waiting list for the buprenorphine scripts but worth a try you may get lucky.

American Rx Pharmacy - Pierpont, WV Inside Shop N Save - I have friends that get out of state scripts here. Very expensive do pared to other pharmacy prices but will fill your script.

Those are 3 that I know of that may fill an out of state script for you. I have heard of a little mom n pop type pharmacy in McKeesport, PA and one in Buckhannon, WV that will also fill PA scripts for WV residents but unfortunately I've not ever heard the names of the pharmacies. Oak Hill Hometown Pharmacy. Not real hard to get to with gps. I just stopped going cause I found a new place. They MIGHT have my spot still open, cant gurantee it though! Hope this helps!

I heard theres 2-3 pharmacies in PA taking WV patients with PA scripts. I dont know the names though. So, thats not much of a help. Sorry.

Who are you talking to? How does YOU getting Subutex for pain make you better than any other person that gets it? Watch yourself, you will more than likely become an addict yourself taking those narcotic pain killers!!! I have the names of some pharmacies that will fill scripts from PA for WV residents. I wrote the pharmacy names and locations down. I have to run out but when I get back I will share the information. I was also given a pamphlet by my Dr where you can get them mailed. The price was something like $270 for 60 8mg Subutex. I also know of another mail order pharmacy that accepts all types of insurance. Will provide that information all within thw next few hours for everyone.

I had same prob. Wat i did is go on google and ask for pharm. In your area. But the pharm mite not want to give you that info. Cuz there affaird you want to rob them. But just explain and give them the drs name and d.e.a num.

The one in peirpont the American RX inside the shop N save will NOT fill out of state scripts...just tried that today & they would not do it!

Just for everyone's information, if you have Medicare and it covers your prescription drugs and your prescription drug company, like AARP MedicareRx Saver Plus, has a mail order pharmacy, typically these mail order pharmacies carry Subutex and WILL fill and mail your prescription to you. I couldn't get mine any other way so I now order mine through the mail. If you have Medicare with Prescription Drug Coverage it may be worth checking into. Your insurance will cover it and most mail order pharmacies will overnight your medication to you for about $35.00. It sure beats $400.00!

I do not think Waterfront fills PA scripts any more. They used to and possibly still do for some patients.

The American RX Pharmacy inside Shop n Save in Pierpont fills for A&RANDOM Solutions or at least the Point Marion facility but again, is cash only. No insurance allowed.

Unfortunately, all of the pharmacies I was aware of that would fill the scripts does not do it anymore. It's near impossible to find a pharmacy. If you happen to be an A&R Solutions patient, they DO have a MAIL ORDER PHARMACY where you get 60 Subutex for like $250 and they WILL overnight for a little extra. If you're not a patient of A&R Solutions, your clinic MAY have certain pharmacies they deal with or their own mail order, let them know your situation, they can generally help. If you have insurance like UnitedHealthcare or Blue Cross Blue Shield then those places also have mail order pharmacies. Mail order is likely going to be your best bet. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I also go to A&R in Waynesburg and now that new guidelines are out am having problems with trying to get a pharmacy to fill.. I just got my last script of subutex today and dont meet the new criteria for getting the subutex.. my next appt is the 25th of this month and I called A&R today to see if the doctor would be able to give me a prescription for suboxone and the woman I talked to didn't give me a straight answer she said I could still get the script but could do the mail in pharmacy. I pay cash and at the pharmacy I've been using for the last 2 years I get 2 weeks which I prefer and can really only afford. At this point I'm freaking out with no one really giving us any answers and they sure in hell didn't give us a forewarning. Really dont want to pay $250 for a script of suboxone. All of this just sucks.. to be honest suboxone makes me sicker than a dog but don't have insurance and cant go see an allergist.. the whole situation is messed up..

I am not really sure what the problem is? Is the pharmacy you've been going to for 2 years refusing to fill your script for Subutex now? If what I heard is true, the mail order thru A+R is only if you get a whole month script and it's $250/mo on top of the cost of your monthly doc appt which is also $250. The only fill using the peach oval Subutex.

If you're being picky and request the white 54/411 Subutex your options for a pharmacy are going to decrease greatly. In my area Walmart is the only pharmacy that carries that kind, however they are very strict with who they fill for and hardly ever fill an out of state script. If you are able to get your script filled at Walmart, they will only give you a 7 day supply at a time.

I use to use my local neighborhood pharmacy. VERY polite, never asked a question about my script. It also helps that they know me, I've used them for the past 10 years for myself and children. When they changed suppliers and started filling using a different Subutex, they even special ordered for me the kind I preferred every month. They were amazing. Since they closed at the end of June, I had to shop around to finally find another pharmacy to fill my script this month. I took 5 days from the date my script was written to get it filled. I almost relapsed from being so sick and my drug of choice being readily available, yet being unable to fill my script that a DR wrote. I hope it gets better, but I doubt it will. I'm worried about getting me script next month, because there is no guarantee any pharmacy will fill it.

Has anyone ever tried to fill a prescription near Waynesburg? That's the only place I've never tried, I always bring my script home and try to fill locally, but maybe I should try to fill near my doctor?

Doesn't look like u ever provided that info u spoke of. As much of a hassle it's been to fill, I'd like to find a mail-order option but can't find a pharmacy that deals with any narcotics thru mail. Any help is greatly appreciated.
