Hello, Rebecca! How are you?
You can start them at any time! Your cycle will adjust accordingly. However, if you start them any time past the 2 day of your period, you will need to take them for a full 7 days, without forgetting any, before you are protected from pregnancy, so for that first week, you'd need to use a backup method of contraception.
However, if your doctor has provided you with other instructions, then please disregard what I've said and follow them.
Is there anything else I can help with?
