Vyvanse Fall Off Side Effects
UpdatedI'm a senior in high school and have been taking vyvanse since the middle of my freshman year. I take it every school day for my ADD. I'm prescribed 40 mg. I've never been able to think a perfect way to describe how I feel when it's wearing off. After about 3 hours I'll start to feel like there's fog in my head. Everything seems hazy and dream like. I'll become extremely irritated to the point where the next person that talks is lucky they aren't getting punched. At lunch I won't eat from no appatite and I'll sit there with my friends as I say nothing. I feel awkward, nervous, anxious, alone, and paranoid. I don't want anything to do with anyone maybe because I feel like something's wrong with me. Later on in the day I begin to feel my face tighten. My mouth does weird things on its own. If I shut my eyes they'll twitch. I have to try really hard to keep them closed. Not that I ever feel like sleeping when I'm on it just if I try to close them that will happen. Even when I start to get that foggy feeling though I still feel the motivation. I've tried changing what I eat for breakfast but nothing's seems to help the awful fall off. I don't want to tell my doctor how bad it actually is because I'm afraid he won't let me take it anymore. My grades have gone from D's and F's to mostly A's. I'm convinced I need this drug to get through life because life as an ADDer is s***.

Hi Lizzie,
I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. I've dealt with ADD and I know how rough it can be. The uncontrollable twitching you've been experiencing could be a serious side effect of this medication so I would definitely speak with your doctor. The other side effects you mentioned are more common, however, it does sound like it really is having effect on your quality of life. It's great that you've seen an improvement in your grades but you still might want to consider looking at your other options just in case.
You can learn more about this drug on the page for Vyvanse Details
I hope this info helps!
