Voveran Tablet & Voveran Gel

I have pulled a muscle in the groin area and finding difficulty in walking, Dr has prescribed Voveran tablet to be taken thrice a day for two days, it is fine, will the pain subside. Also i have a mid back problem. There is tremendous pain when i am sleeping at night and when i try to get up there is heaviness in the back area with a lot of spasm i have been applying voveran gel every single day is it fine
