Voren 50mg During Menstrual Cycle

Can i take 50mg of voren while on my periods? My friend told me that i can take it like once in a week only, but i haven't taken it yet so can u plz help me out, as i'm not sure if it has any side effects?

All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, the NIH lists the ones for this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation.

It can be taken while menstruating and more than once a week, if your doctor approves.
