No, you should not use it there, anything that isn't specially formulated to be used on or near the eye could potentially cause serious damage, if some accidentally gets into your eyes. It would be best to see your doctor to discover what would be safe for you to use.
The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including skin irritation, redness and dry skin.
