My husband gave me this pill, telling me it's an all natural vitamin but he lied!! The pill bottle said it was fruity and would dissolve in my mouth, but when I took it, it was nasty tasting like a medical pill. What is this pill? Is he trying to kill me or does he have an STI and is trying to trick me into taking it? Please HELP!! Trying to understand what is Quercetin and what does it do? ## Quercetin is a naturally occurring compound which can be used in dietary supplements. "It is found in many fruits, vegetables, leaves, seeds, and grains; red onions and kale are common foods containing appreciable amounts of quercetin." I have heard that taking it in conjunction with zinc can be a preventative measure against covid (and possibly flu) - this was promoted by a Dr by the name of Zev Zelenko. But I think the "mainstream" view is that evidence is lacking with regards to its effectiveness at treating viruses and other diseases. If you'd like more details on this compound I found the wikipedia page on it to be pretty decent:

I came across some pills that got mixed into another bottle with some so I am not sure what they are now. They are capsules and look like a very light gray and white capsule. The powder inside is brown. There are no markings or imprints on the capsule at all. ## I am sorry, but without any markings, it will be impossible to positively identify, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. We can safely say it is a not a legal U.S. prescription drug, since by law they are all required to have markings to enable their ID. The pill has no imprint at all, is a dark red color (almost maroon), and is 1cm wide.
