Vitamin B Complex, Multi-vitamin, Eliquis

Is it safe to take a Vitamin B Complex for my osteoarthritis while I'm taking 5mg of Eliquis twice a day.

Also, regarding a multi-vitamin, what should I look for in terms of which vitamins, dosages and combinations that would be safe with the Eliquis I'm taking.

Some vitamins can cause too much blood thinning, when taken with a medication like Eliquis, so it would be best to double check with your doctor, before taking them, just to be safe. There are also some vitamins that may reduce the effectiveness of the medication, such as vitamin K.

Eliquis may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased risk of bleeding.

Does your doctor have you on any dietary restrictions? Are you taking any other medications?
