Usually when a product disappears from the market and returns repackaged the FDA had a problem with wording or non-proven results. I would think package aesthetics had nothing to do with it.

Well I'm glad to see it's back, but it seems funny they stopped supplying it to repackage it or because some huge delayed shipment! I agree it's the only thing that works and I've been using it for years. All of a sudden 6 mths ago my tear duct turned white, like a pimple in it! My doc says it's a stye, but stye's are on eyelids, and they go away. I may be paranoid but I was wondering if any body else out there has developed this since using LR and has anyone compared the ingredients to the old LR to see if they've changed it?

RELAX, it's back! now at walgreens at $4.99 for half ounce bottle. NEW box design so look for it closely. still reads visine l.r.. just bought mine yesterday.

I just got the package from granvillewellness.com for the Visine Workplace. Good stuff. Thanks for the tip. They were VERY fast and reasonably priced. I may just keep them around as a source for VLR and/or Workplace.

Has anyone found a store that sells Visine LR yet. People are selling it in E-Bay but are asking high prices for it.Hope i find some soon my eyes are really hurting nothing works but this.

For those of you, like myself, that are serious about getting/keeping VLR on the shelves, please send an email to the FDA and let them know that there is a nationwide shortage of this product. The FDA claims they do not know of any product shortage! [email protected]

I just hung up with customer service at Johnson & Johnson. I was informed that Visine LR is produced out of the country and there was a very large shipment held up in customs for several months. That shipment was released by customs last Wednesday ( 5/19) . The gentleman I spoke with said that the product will be showing up on shelfs at CVS and Walgreens any day now. He seemed to be right on top of this situation and it appears as if there is finally an answer to this whole mess.
