Visine Lr Discontinued? (Page 11)

Having problems finding this product. Has it been discontinued and if so, do you know why?

Well I'm glad to see it's back, but it seems funny they stopped supplying it to repackage it or because some huge delayed shipment! I agree it's the only thing that works and I've been using it for years. All of a sudden 6 mths ago my tear duct turned white, like a pimple in it! My doc says it's a stye, but stye's are on eyelids, and they go away. I may be paranoid but I was wondering if any body else out there has developed this since using LR and has anyone compared the ingredients to the old LR to see if they've changed it?

Usually when a product disappears from the market and returns repackaged the FDA had a problem with wording or non-proven results. I would think package aesthetics had nothing to do with it.

Have been so upset for weeks that I couldn't find this. Spent so much money on other stuff then realize this has a different ingredient it. Just went to cvs store no luck. Then went to wallgreens in Folsom Calif......2 bottles I almost cried!!

I feel like I have found a "long lost family member!" ..... I thought I was the only one spending my days driving around town desperately searching for the last bottles of Visine LR!!!......I used to order (6) bottles at a time from Drugstore.com & about had a seizure when I went to re-order from them & it flashed on my computer screen that they 'NO LONGER STOCK VISINE LR!!'....Does Visine even have a clue how many loyal customers it has running around the country looking for this "liquid gold"??? I too have tried all their other flavors, but none even come close to working for me!!

I think the crisis is over! I went the whole gamut here. I ran out of VLR and searched every store around with no luck. I found this thread a couple of months back and tried the Afrin for a couple of days and it did work, but did not feel right. I ordered the Canadian Visine Workplace and it worked just like VLR. I saw the note that CVS was now selling again online and I bought some. I just received my package yesterday and everything is now right with the world.
Thanks to all the posted who helped in the last couple of months!

I just received my package from CVS Online... so all is well with the world. Thanks to my Visine LR comrads.... from the few I found at a local farmers market, to the Workplace and now the CVS order, I could fill a kiddie pool with the stuff... and I like to keep it that way, thank you very much! :) (I too used to order from drugstore.com -- like 6 at a time... and I love that they had the 1 ounce bottles!).

My CVS order of 5 arrived today! It is just like before with a 2012 expiration date! WoooHooo! The package is slightly different in that there is a red band where it says Long Lasting Redness Relief. Otherwise just like before.

I RECEIVED MY ORDER FROM CVS YESTERDAY. I THANK ALL WHO KEPT US TOGETHER AS A VLR COMMUNITY OF THE DESPERATE AND CONFUSED, AS WELL AS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITHOUT THE DROPS. WE HOPE THAT THIS AVAILABILITY CONTINUES AND THIS IS JUST A BAD MEMORY! THANKS TO ALL AND GOD BLESS!!

OMG! I can't believe it's back... about 2 months ago I drove this entire town (and surrounding) in Indiana looking for LR...found 3 bottles at a local IGA and bought them all... was down to 2 and getting sick about it...literally. Thank you all for your posts - I can finally relax. Going to Walgreens now. LOL!

Finally found a bottle at wallgreens in nyc. i have been looking at every wallgreens and cvs in northern jersey and in nyc the past few weeks. cvs still is not stocking it yet.it is the new design box and the expiration date is 2/12.

I don't know about you guys... but I was at a local Walmart yesterday and I was compelled to check to see if they had Visine LR (which they didn't)... I think it's become a habit (to check for it, that is!)

I check for it in every store I go into. even though i have plenty of stock i'm still hoping to see it evrywhere i used to see it.

I am so thankful I found this thread. I almost paid $10 a bottle on a canadian website until I read here that CVS online has the Visine LR in stock. I paid $3 a bottle for 14 bottles (thought I would stock up) after free shipping & a $10 coupon !!! Their regular price is only $3.74. I called my local CVS & they are still not stocking it, so I thought I better stock up online

Actually the granvillewellness pharmacy in Canada didn't charge me too much for Visine Workplace. I will keep them in my favorites as a secondary place to pick up Visine LR (aka Workplace) as well. You may want to check them out, too.
