My doctor just took me off viibryd (and 1 mg of Abilify) and put me back on Zoloft (which I had been on for years prior). I gained 20 pounds and was still really depressed and anxious on the viibryd/Abilify. My concern is that he didn't wean me off the viibryd. It's only been 2 days and I am so itchy!! I want to itch my face off and I am so irritable too.. Super b****y and agitated with everything and everyone. Has anyone quit viibryd cold turkey and gone to Zoloft?

Hello, Mel! How are you? I'm very sorry about how you're feeling.
You are most likely experiencing withdrawal effects, as well as side effects from starting the Zoloft. It may take a few weeks for things to settle back down and improve.
The FDA classifies Zoloft as an SSRI and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain.
