Ms. Verwon, Hi, This is jayjay124. Hope you are doing well. I have a question that needs to be answered about a certain strenght of Vicodin. Is there such a srenght as 1000mg. I have a co-worker that says that he was prescribed some a while back. I stated that I have never heard of such a strenght and that 1000mgs would be very hard on the liver and that I knew of someone that could give us an honest answer. Could you please answer this and put an end to this discussion. Thanks in advance for your expertise. ## Strongest Vicodin that I know of is the 660/10 660 of acetaminophen and 10 of hydrocodone. I have a bottle that has pills that is only white that is oblong with watson 347 on them but all i can find is the white and blue pills but these or only white what are they? ## They sound like hydrocodon, aka vicodin. they are used as a mild to moderate pain releiver.

If Dr. House was actually taking the amount of narcotic pain releiver that is protrayed on the TV series-would he be able to function effectively? ## If he built up to that amount slowly, over time, then yes, he probably could. That is one of the idiosyncrasies of narcotics. If an addict or abuser builds up very slowly, then their body can learn to handle and function even though they take very, very large amounts of the medication. I have some YELLOW oblong pills from Pakistan. Pill says WATSON 853 and is yellow football shaped. Is suppossed to be Vicodin 10/325. Does not stop pain. Is it safe?
