Vicodin With 325 Acetaminophen Causing Headaches

My script has changed under the new law. It's now Vicodin with 325 Acetaminophen. I've noticed that this new pill is giving me a headache. Only the Acetaminophen strength has changed. The strength was 7.5/ 750. It's now 7.5/ 325. Anyone have any idea why the headache? When I switch back to the old, no headache. Thanks in advance.

Which are you taking, Vicodin or Percocet?

Percocet contains Acetaminophen with Oxycodone, while Vicodin contains Acetaminophen with Hydrocodone.

And, since the amount of Acetaminophen is lower, that means that your headaches may be due to a slight withdrawal effect, because this medication isn't a potent.

Have you consulted your doctor about the problem?

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Taking Percocet 325/5 for severe back pain. I take a pill and a half every 6 hrs. Ran out a day earlier. How much can I take if I have my old 6 pills of Vicodin 325/10. Should I break it?
