Vibryd

I have been on 60mg of Cymbalta for about a year now. My Doctor gave me starter pack of Vibryd. Her instructions were to stop Cymbalta and start with 10mg Vibryd for two weeks and then go to 20 and stay on that amount. However after four days of Vibryd, 10mg I was dizzy as hell and disoriented. I have been reading other people's stories about weaning off cymbalta while taking Vibryd. Is this ok? My doc doesn't seem to know and we don 't have any psychiatrists around here. So if you are someone who has a good doc, and put you on Vibryd and you were on Cymbalta, Please, please tell me how you are doing this transistion. The reason for stopping cymbalta is because my doc thinks it's messing with my norepinephrine too much, causing rage and irritation.

Well, if you abruptly stopped the Cymbalta and started the Viibryd, then you likely suffered a double whammy, so to speak, withdrawal/rebound effects from one and the new side effects from the other.
