Venlafaxine Er 37 5 (Top voted first)
UpdatedDr give me Venlafaxine ER 37.5 I took 1 pill a day after a week increase to 2 pills a day.. well I finish the medication and my Dr didnt give me refills so for 5 days I had the most horrible withdrawals so I started to take Bupropion hcl xl 300mg twice a day and by the second day I fealt great. Now my question is this. Did I made a mistake by taking the Bupropion twice a day to stop the withdrawals and Now that I have the Venlafaxine should I started to take it again or should I keep taking the Bupropion xl 300mg twice a day. Iam just affraid to go to the withdrawals of the medication.

There are no severe withdrawal effects to these types of medications, unless someone's been taking them for a very long time. If you'd only started recently then you may have experienced some mild rebound symptoms, but that's all.
And yes, you shouldn't have started taking a different medication, you should have contacted your docotr about being out early, so that you could continue taking the one you were prescribed.

What I would suggest is talking to your doctor and telling them the problem, so they can help you decide which medication is best for you.
