What is Vengesic grageas and what are its healing properties? What is it derived from and where does it come from? How is it used?

Hi. I have been taking 1 tablet of Vengesic Grageas daily for the past 2 years. It reduces my osteoarthritis pain significantly (by 50%). I’m not aware of any negative effects. When I had to stop taking it for 2 weeks prior to a hip replacement, I was in agony. Once I resumed daily dosage, my pain dropped by 50%. Is this drug addictive? It works. I don’t want to stop taking it, but I worry about long term effects.

The FDA lists Vengesic as a medication from Mexico that contains the active ingredients Methocarbamol, Phenylbutazone and Dexamethasone, this combination is not approved for use and sale in the U.S.

It is used to treat muscle spasms and pain. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, acne and insomnia.

It is taken orally and, while it may help with some conditions, it has no actual healing properties, per se.

Is it ok to take acetaminophen with veangesic? Right now I'm taking one tablet of vengesic every 8 hrs. But I feel that I need something else for headaches.

According the FDA, onset of hepatic failure is sudden and irreversible. You are...quite at risk taking both medications.
