Had this on 11/29 through iv at hospital took a drug test at work yesterday and failed for this drug over a month later is that possible?

Yes, Valium contains the active ingredient Diazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine and they can be detectable in standard urine tests for 6 weeks after last dosing.
However, you should only have to inform them that it was administered on a doctor's orders and they should be able to verify that with the hospital.
