Valium Side Effects

I am a 62 year old man. Been on Valium for a decade, and now I have a growth in my left breast. Dr said that the Valium is the cause. The pain is unbelievable. Get off the Valium now. Please.

The FDA does list this medication as possibly causing gynecomastia as a side effect, which is a condition where men grow breasts similar to those of a female, however, it is not usually painful! It can occur in one, or both breasts and may occasionally cause some nipple discharge, but pain is not a normal symptom.

If you have a growth in one breast that is painful, it sounds more like it may be a cyst. Did you doctor have any scans done to check?
