Very Disturbing Side Effect

I am 63 years old, married and began taking Androgel to improve flagging performance. Recently I have found myself curious about child pornography. This is completely foreign and disturbing to me and I have to assume it is related to increased testosterone levels somehow. It is not something one mentions easily to their doctor but I am wondering if anyone feels comfortable enough here to relay similar concerns. If others have experienced similar, the word should be spread

There have been many posts on here about testosterone replacement therapy and I have never read mention of this type of thing, before.

If it was caused by higher testosterone levels, you should have experienced that, when your own natural levels were higher.

I understand why you'd find it disturbing and I do strongly urge you to speak to your doctor about it to see what they think. Everyone gets weird thoughts and ideas, sometimes, but what's relevant is whether or not you act on them. I can assure you that your doctor has heard much stranger things from other patients.

Does anyone else have experiences to share?
