What atiovbiotics are safe to use with Tikyson?

Hi Sue,

From what I could gather, there are certain macrolide antibiotics and certain quinolone antibiotics that interact with Tikosyn (Dofetilide); however the prescribing label for this medication does not mention which antibiotics fall into these two categories and which one's don't.

In this case, if you are looking into using a specific antibiotic, your doctor should know based on your medical records that certain one's may interact with your current medication(s). I would however suggest reminding him/her of this possible interaction just to play it safe when you are being prescribed something.
