I started on the Augmentin tuesday, I was given it for a head and chest cold, I now have diarrhea and alot of rumbling in my stomach after taking it, plus some discomfort, should I stop taking the medicine, in order to prevent possible C-diff?

I was givenAmox Tr-K CLV 875-125 mg 1 tab BID for Klebsiella Pneumonae in my urine. Which I think is usual? I had been given this medication for MRSA I had for a number of boils I kept getting. Am I right on thinking this is not the right medication...previous I had been given Cipro and a Cephlosporin and marcobit for the urine infection( the culture showed resistant to macrobit this time).

I have a lung abscess and must take this amox tr-k clv 875-125 mg 3 times a day for a month. I have only been taking it 3 full days and the diarrhea is persistent. Side effects of this med specificlly said it does not bring on c-diff. I am stuck home. Is there any way I can tell if it is just a diarrhea or c-diff? Please help.

This is an antibiotic. If you're taking this and it doesn't seem like you're getting better, tell your doctor. Some antibiotics don't work on certain infections. I was prescribed this for an infection in my toe but it didn't work so he switched medications.

I have been perscribed AMOX TR-KI CLV 875-125 for a fungus in my throat. Will this cure the fungus? It is perscribed for 2 each day, breakfast and dinner. If I start taking this and have reactions, can I stop taking it without any problems?
