Uses And Side Effects Of Omnacortil 55mg

My mom is suffering from membranous nephropathy syndrome for past three years. Now the blood creatinine level is 2.5. So doctor advised to use omnacortil 55mg/day, after using that she is getting her face swell. Kindly let me know why this medicine is used and what are the side effects of it.
