Use Of Of Diethyl Carbamazine Tablets I.p 100 Mg.

Recently I got my blood test report, in which Eosinophils (WB/Automated Counter) was found/observed as 13 as against the required range of 1 - 6%. I consulted my Doctor who advised me to take the subject tablet DIETHY CARBAMAZINE for 21 days (three times a day). Kindly advise me whether the prescribed tablet is safe for the abnormality observed in my blood count. What are the side efforts by way of taking the subject tablet, is there anything dangerous or what?
