Use-by Dates

Would Augmentin 500b tabs exceed thar EXP dates far if they needed to be taken in a emergancy for a sore tooth, the meds in question are 1 year over and have been stored well and are well pakaged.

This antibiotic doesn't get dangerous past its expiration, but it does start to lose effectiveness and that creates the risk of it not working as well as it should, which may result in your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.

In such cases, it is much safer to see your doctor, so they can cofirm the presence of an infection and prescribe a new antibiotic.
