Dear Sirs, My wife has been suffering from deep vein thrombosis for 25 years. She has clots in the left leg femoral vein at the inguinal region and splino portal vein. Recanalization has already taken place. Can she take Bidanzen forts (serratiopeptidase 10 mg) which is claimed to be proteolytic and clot dissolving agent ?

I am located in Vadodara, (India) state Gujarat. 25 years ago my wife complained of pain in the left leg. We went to an orthopedic who prescribed NSAID, which gave a temporary relief. Meanwhile the intensity of pain increased, mobility became restricted. Finally we approached a very senior surgeon who diagnosed it as DVT located at inguinal region in the femoral vein. . He recommended an antibiotics, low dose aspirin and bed rest with elevated leg. Subsequently my wife has been on warfarin, Vitamin E with Levocarnitine but nothing seems to work. So my query about Serratiopeptidase
