Urdiogem (Ursodeoxycholic Acid) is manufactured in India, so it is difficult to locate detailed information about it in the US drug databases.

I did the retrieve the US version of this pill to be Ursodiol (also known as Ursodeoxycholic Acid). Ursodeoxycholic acid helps regulate cholesterol by reducing the rate at which the GI tract absorbs cholesterol molecules while breaking up micelles containing cholesterol. Because of this property, ursodeoxycholic acid is used to treat (cholesterol) gallstones non-surgically.
