Understandn Oxy10

i have been taking oxy 10mg for a couple days now. i was on perc 5s. i thought this was suppose to be a stronger stronger version of percs. i live with back pain so bad, there is days i cant perform my job .they have me taking 2 a day. Im scaired if im to say something they will just not give me anything. it is literaly hell to hurt every second of the day and have no one care.why are they so weak? I read if i was to chew it, that it would loose its potency. is this true? someone help understand this med.

The amount of Oxycodone is higher, if you were taking Percocet that only had 5mgs in them, but it lacks the Acetaminophen that was in the Percocet. The Acetaminophen helps the Oxycodone to work better and it does really make a different, for some people, in the amount of pain relief they receive.

What formulation are you taking? The regular release or the time released Oxycontin?
