Thank you, lovely, for providing this information, we've have many people have problems with the new Oxycontin formulation.
However, importing a medication into the U.S. that has an available equivalent is considered illegal, under the U.S. drug laws, so obtaining it this way could be problematic for some people.
If you are traveling and it is prescribed there, you can bring in a 3 months supply, but otherwise, you risk the medication being seized by customs and possibly criminal charges, since it is a controlled substance.
