Can Twynsta 80mg/10mg be cut in half and taken as you would Twynsta 40mg/5mg?

The prescribing information for Twynsta directs that they should be swallowed whole, not cut, crushed or chewed.

There are several reasons this may be necessary, they may have some type of time release mechanism, or they may be very irritating to the gastro-intestinal system.
