Two Periods In One Month?!

Alright, I have been on this birth control for 3 months now (currently on Wednesday in the last week of my 3rd pack). For the first pack my period came on the last week, as it should according to the pill's instructions. But for my second pack, I got my period the second week of the pack for that whole week! What's even more mind-boggling is that on the last week of that second pack, I got my period again, which is how it should be. Now, this is my third month, thus I am on my third pack. Just like how my second month had been, I got my period for a whole week in the second week of the pack! It is now the last week of my third pack, day Wednesday, but now I haven't even gotten my period! Something is not right, and I'm starting to get aggravated with this birth control. Please help, why is my period so messed up??

This contraceptive is a hormonal based medication, so it can take several months for your body to adjust to these different levels of hormones and such irregularities to your menstrual cycle are normal during this time period.

If you read the full package insert, it does warn of these types of side effects being possible.

It should start to clear up into your 4th month, if not, then it may not be the right one for you to take and you may need to try a different pill.

Yes, the side effects were explained to me and I have read the full insert. It just stinks how it's been giving me two periods in a month, both of them being a week long with symptoms as well. I guess I'll have to wait a few more months for the pill to adjust to my system, thank you for your input!
