Tryptophan To Help With Withdrawal Symptoms

From what I've read, L-Tryptophan is known for its use in helping patient's reduce the severity and occurrence of certain withdrawal symptoms upon stopping those types of medications.
Apparently, the body creates 5-HTP from it, which then starts the conversion process to serotonin and melatonin.
You'd ultimately have to talk with your doctor about proper dosing, but it sounds like some people have had success taking 3000mgs/day in divided doses.
