I am F/62 and never had problems relating to sleep. But since about 2 years I'm suffering from sleeping disorder. I go to bed very drowsy but sleep eludes me till 2-3 AM. I've shoulder pain as also lower back pain. I've past history of severe Osteoporosis. Consulted Neurologist who prescribed Remylin D twice daily and suggested I take 10mg Tryptomer for sleeping problem. Asked if it had a side effect the doctor said it's safer compared to other medications and there are people who are on it for more than 15 years. Is it really that safe?
