Trolic Tablet Dosing Regimen

Well I have been experiencing an involuntary cough, where I have this urge to keep clearing the back of my throat and it won't go away. I'm not sick and it has been happening for 4 months. I went to a doctor and she told me it might be an allergy so she gave me Trolic 5 mg (28) tablets and she said that I must take 6 tablets every morning (1x a day). Is this the right dosage? I'm on day 3.
