This contains the active ingredient Amitriptyline, which is a tricyclic antidepressant and no, it isn't addicting like a narcotic or Benzodiazepine would be.
However, you may become dependent on it, which can happen with any medication that you take for a long period of time and suddenly stopping it could result in withdrawal or rebound symptoms.
