Triprevifem - Painful Vaginal Dryness?

I have been on Sprintec until 11/2012 when I got pregnant. My daughter was born 9/2013 and I breastfed (on minipill) until 10/2014. I'm now on the first week of my second pack of Tri-previfem (subbed by pharmacy) and I am dying! I have severe vaginal dryness and itching. I am only 29 years old, so I'm not nearing menopause. I plan to make an ob/gyn appt after the holiday weekend, but was wondering if this is a common side affect of this drug or of it could be related to "my hormones changing" from breastfeeding.

Hello, Kay! How are you?

It could be due to either one, actually. That's usually a sign of lowered estrogen levels. You may need to switch to a different one, for now or add something else to supplement your estrogen.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes and PMS like symptoms.
