Trimidol Night Dosage

I had top lung partial removal 2 1/2 weeks ago I am prescribed 2 trimodol and 2 paracetomol 4 times a day Problem is pain about 4/5 o.c in morning Doctor does not want to increas dosages Any ideas ??? To relieve night pain?

Tramadol isn't really very potent and effective at treating severe pain.

However, the reason your doctor probably stuck with it, rather than something stronger, is to try to avoid the possibility of your becoming addicted to something.
