Trimeth/sulfate

Took this medication and made me throw up bad and gave me body aches and gave me rash I got for cellulitis for my arm I stopped taking it because it scared me. I am taking amox/clav by itself now and feel better.

Yes, those sulfur based medications can cause bad side effects and allergic reactions in some people that take it. I had a bad experience with it myself.

The FDA lists the typical side effects for the Amox/Clav as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Has your cellulitis improved?
