Yes, it has been known to cause serious weight gain in some people that take it, according to NIH reports. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and dry mouth.
If the weight gain has been severe, you may want to speak to your doctor about trying an alternative medication, such as Pregabalin, to see if it may not cause you the same issue.
Is there anything else I can help with?
THANK YOU BUT NO--I WOULD LIKE A NEW BODY BUT NO ONE HAS ONE. THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWER.
TALKED TO MY FAMILY DOCTOR AND SHE SUGGESTED I COULD TRY TEGRATOL [SP]. I DECIDED TO KEEP TAKING GABA.
