What are the latest developments and drugs for controlling the pain of Trigeminal Neuralgia.

Margaret, how much were you taking? Those are not typical side effects for this medication, according to NIH reports. They typically include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings, and weight changes.
What other medications have you tried?
Have you tried any SSRI antidepressants?
I have been taking Lyrica for Trigeminal neuralgia with some pain relief, however I experienced hallucinations and other mind altering symptoms. I would never consider taking it again.
