Triazolam 0 25mg

Prescribed two .25mg 10X10 pills to take prior to a bone scan. Was unable to get through bone scan before (panic type attack) My question is--is this dosage considerd safe?

According to Walgreens Pharmacy, they state; "DO NOT take 2 doses at once" in their guidelines for how to take this medication.

That said, I wouldn't consider it to be safe, being that 0.5mg is maximum recommended dose (that you had in one sitting). Additional patient guidelines note:

"Triazolam is indicated for short term use only (7 to 10 days). The maximum recommended dose is 0.5 mg."
