Will this work to stop vaginal dryness and itching and what are the side effects?

It very possibly IS herpes. A test done on the vagina can give a false negative result. It's important to have a blood test done at least 6 months after you get tested to be certain. Men who don't have their partners tested for STI's can contract herpes and never have symptoms. Then they sleep with another lady, she doesn't require him to be tested for STI's and then she gets an outbreak. It sucks, it's not fair, but it happens ALL THE TIME.

I have a smelly discharge and my vagina is itching. I went to the clinic and they gave me doxytet but it doesn't help. What should I do?

I was on jardiance, but stopped taking it when the itching started. So I went on glyxambi and the itching came back. Why is this happening? I have been using vagisil cream which has not been much help. Please advise if there's any other treatment option?

I have an Rx for Triamcinolone which was used for prior contact dermatitis. Can it be used externally for vaginal itching until I can get to a doctor?

Dont tell people they have herpes! The small cuts come from scratching. Vaginal dryness can also cause cuts. Bacterial vaginosis can also cause itching and cuts from scratching. I just took the pill for yeast infection and it takes 3-7 days for improvement. The itching was bad so I went through medicine cabinet and research some creams and the Triamcinole Acetonide can be used to help the side effects of fungal and yeast infections. It also says it can be used in the gential and anal area. So I put some on my vaginal area. It did not burn. I did not insert it all the way inside just slattered it around the whole outside area and just around the opening. I know it may be tmi.. But let me tell you that the itching and burning stopped instantly .. I mean so fast that I thought I had to be imagining it lol.. I can finally get some sleep tonight. I just wanted to let everyone know.

Sounds like a bacterial infection (vaginosis). Seek a doctor. Flagyl is usually prescribed.

You poor thing, go to chemist. It's a yeast infection. Ask for Nilstat, they will give you cream to clear it up in no time. I've been using it as needed for over 20yrs. Good stuff ! Also eat plenty yoghurt and less sugar, it's all about the bacteria in your gut. Try not to take antibiotics if you can help it, you will end up with Thrush for sure ! Good luck ladies !

You should never use something inside unless it says it's for internal use, such as a suppository. However I did just use some for my lips, they've been dry, painful and itchy, it was hot at first when I put it on, almost uncomfortable but a second later started calming down and felt really good.

No this is NOT herpes, it is as a result of chemical burns from the wrong gel used instead of lubricant gel. Is there anything that can be used to help the healing process and stop the itching and burning?

Hi, I am no MD, but after 20 plus years of having an undiagnosed condition occurring occasionally on one area of my external vulva and on the same wrist, I randomly showed my wrist to my podiatrist who immediately said it was pustular psoriasis. For me, it's induced by stress, and starts as a small painful skin bump that gets much bigger, itches like crazy and becomes a huge group of pus like skin cells, resembling tapioca. I was so relieved to have a diagnosis. It isn't contageous and even though it is painful (I thought it was shingles!) I don't have it as bad as some. I remember it popped up originally when I was pregnant. Best wishes!

I agree most of them sound like they simply have a yeast infection possibly, or maybe just irritation from shaving or something (if they in fact shave). It could be a vast array of things. Doesn't mean they have genital herpes, but either way go to your Obgyn and get yourself checked out. That's the only way to know for sure! Good luck!
