Triamcinolon Cream

I was given this by my dermatologist for poison ivy. So far it is not working. OTC anti-itch is helping.

How long have you been using it?

It is a steroid based cream, so it won't work instantly like some of the other topical ointments do. It will require a few days to start having an effect.

However, many times, poison ivy will just clear up on its own, as long as you are careful not to scratch and dig at, so it spreads.
