Triam Hctz Side Effects

I have COPD and I take Spireva. I also take Triamt/HCTZ 37.5-25 for mild high blood pressure. I have started having my hair fall out and to break off ... also I seemto be having a very fast heart rate wheb ever I stand or walk. Could one of the medications be causing this?

Most blood pressure medications are known to cause hair loss, in some people that take them, as a side effect, it has also been known to cause accelerated, and irregular heart beat, but that symptom could also be caused by the Spireva. Other side effects to the Triamterene and Hydrochlorthiazide may include nausea, headache, postural hypotension, and increased urination.

Have you spoken to your doctor? You might do better on a different medication for your blood pressure.
