Can trepiline be taken after I have stopped taking lyrica?

I have taken Lyrica 50mg at night for a week. My doctor feels it is not necessary as it is not working. Do I have to taper off to stop, or can I just stop? Also would I be able to take 10mg trepiline once I have stopped the Lyrica or will I have to wait two weeks before commencing it?

What has your doctor advised?

I'm not seeing any serious issues between switching from Lyrica to Amitriptyline, but you should follow whatever instructions your doctor has provided you to get the best and safest outcome.
