Trepiline Side Effects

I am a wide angle glaucoma sufferer and use Cosopt twice a day. I started using 25 mg Trepiline 6 weeks ago. Since then my eyes are inflamed and red most of the time, burning and I have blurred vision. Could it be the Trepiline?

Based on my research, I've determined that Trepiline is the cause of your symptoms, as these two drugs have no interactions with each other.

Side effects of Trepiline (Amitriptyline) can include:
-blurred vision
-swelling of the face and tongue
-yellowing of the skin or eyes

All of these are considered to be severe side effects that should be reported to your doctor immediately.

I truly hope that you are willing and able to seek out a natural alternative to your underlying condition. These prescription drugs have the worst side effects and only function to cover up your symptoms with other "side effects", rather than attack the actual cause of your condition.

I've been under a lot of stress lately the doctor prescribed trepiline to help me sleep better..the first time I took it I slept well but I woke up with a runny tummy and severe stomach cramps..the next day I just felt completely tired, depressed and very thirsty through out the day..so I decided to stop..are these some side effects of the pill or is it something else I should worry about?
